Among post-surgical complications, infections are not uncommon and may lead to many difficulties in management of patient's conditions and discharge planning after the surgery.

 

Post-surgical infections may present in shape of superfacial wound infection, deep soft tissue infection, abscesses or infection of metal material used inside of patient's body such as prosthetic joints or grafts.
